Tuesday Sept 21 at 7.30pm, there will be a series of short talks on renewable energy at Bath Abbey. This will include plans that the Abbey has for renewable energy generation and conservation. Speakers will include Prof Doug King of King Shaw Assocs, Geoff Rich of Fielden Clegg Bradley, and Neil Francis of Buro Happold. This event is organised jointly by Bath Abbey and the Transition Bath Energy group.

Caring for Your Apple Trees

This workshop will be led by Les Davies MBE at The Vine House, Bailbrook Lane, Solsbury Hill, Bath, a newly planted orchard. 

The worksop is on Saturaday 13th February 2010 running from 10:00 till 3:00.  During day Les will cover the propagation and management of apple trees, including grafting, budding and pruning. 

The workshop is of great value at £15 for the whole day including lunch.
