Following the successful launch of Bath & West Community Energy’s share offer, work has started on their first installation at Corsham School. Solar panels capable of generating 50 kW of electricity are being put up over half term. This will provide the school with a good proportion of its electricity needs.
BWCE’s share offer is now open to the public. An investment in BWCE will help fund the building of a local renewable energy infrastructure which will make our communities more resilient in the face of rising energy costs. And, as member of BWCE, you will earn a healthy rate of return on your investment , currently estimated at 7% per year.
For more information and to download a copy of their Share Offer Document and Application Form, visit their website www.bwce.coop
